The Hoobastank y el éxito de la canción "The reason"

El más importante éxito comercial de Hoobastank es sin duda esta canción, que apareció en el álbum delmimso nombre "The reason" (9 de diciembre de 2003). El sencillo alcanzó importantes nominaciones y logró ocupar importantes posiciones dentro de diferentes rankings.

Recordemos por ejemplo que ocupó el segundo lugar de la lista Billboard Hot 100 del 2004. Y que el videoclip fue premiado como mejor video de rock en los premios MTV Asia VMA de ese mismo año.

El sello The Island Def Jam Music Group fue quién se encargo de producir dicho materialmusical.
